We’re looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Cashier / Shift Lead to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with customers, can help lead the front-of-house team, and is willing to assist with food preparation and daily restaurant operations as needed.
Position Details
- Position: Cashier / Shift Lead
- Location: Gledale Restaurant
- Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Compensation: Hourly pay + tips
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and operate the POS system
- Check orders for accuracy before they are given to customers
- Keep the dining and front-counter areas clean and organized
- Help lead the front-of-house team during assigned shifts
- Assist with food preparation and production as needed
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and professional
- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Weekend availability
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
- Must obtain a Maricopa County Food Handler Card or Certified Food Protection Manager (Manager Food Safety Certification) within 30 days of hire, if required for the position. Chilakil To Go will reimburse the cost upon successful completion.
